Chinese CNPC and Shell sign global cooperation agreements

On April 8, CNPC Chairman Zhou Jiping met with Shell CEO Ben van Beurden in Beijing. After a candid and friendly discussion, they signed Cooperation Documents between Shell and CNPC, CNPC’s press office said. According to the documents, the two companies will strengthen long-term worldwide cooperation in unconventional resources, deep water, LNG, and upstream and downstream businesses. Both agree to take soft power as an integral part in various fields of cooperation, and to promote the strategic partnership between the two sides to a higher level.
